Hey guys just found the forum after buying my WR1 no 381.

I have seen the post up about the car and wanted to let you no whats happened, ok so i got the rear brakes and discs done by redline and the wheel was fixed have checked the front bumber and no cracks so must have been done the bonnet scoop still needs new paint but easy fix as friend has body shop, and dontthink i got ripped off at 10,750K

i live in leeming north yorks so if you see it around you no its me.

Welcome mate, if you want the previous owners mobile number to ask him about anything, he is a mechanic and lives in harrogate, not far from me. Enjoy the car, fast piece of machinery.

Will do my best to get some pics up shortly mate , already started modding got the pink badge on changed the bulbs for phillips ones from scoobyparts future plans are to get the 3 gauge centre pod with prosport gauges carbon fibre bonnet , spoiler and b pillars, plus get new stereo as the standard cd player skips when you go over a bump.

Should become an interesting thread then Jimmy.

Thoughts about the stereo........... suppliers prices for carbon bonnet ???

etc etc. As regards the rear indicator bulbs, I'm assured that Phillips silvered indicator bulbs are far brighter in use that the Silvatec ones.

I have blue side lights on the front which is quite
Cool considering the ice blue body colour. Have you changed yours ? How difficult is it to get into the bloody things ???????????

hey Micktype only replaced the main beam bulbs they were bad enough to get to im guessing the light unit has to come out to change the side lights , got some free with the new bulbs but didnt take it on lol.

stereo wise gonna go for a single din alpine unit

Im looking at the Prosport centre gauges and piller boost gauge atm away to purchase.

get my brakes done next week PF pads, brake lines 5.1 fluid and Godspeed discs.
Have RCM Induction kit with red crackle effect and wrapped down pipe decat to go on later in month before mapping.

Ordered HID's yesterday Cool i changed to phillips bulbs but they look identical to ordinary and want better.

Wheel refurb new tyres and coilovers next.
