It seems a bit too good to be true at that price with that mileage I'm thinking of giving the dealer a ring to ask about service history etc before possibly going to see it, just wondered if anyone could tell me anything about it in advance. The jury is still out for me on the wheels- I think the darker colour suits the WR1 better tbh. Maybe if the centre caps were darker like the wheels it would look better overall. The missing service history is almost certainly the reason the car is priced as it is. I personally wouldn't buy one without the full history but that's just me. Do we know what's missing? The big question is did it not get done because the guy was out of the country or because he couldn't afford to run it and just 'stretched' the servicing out a bit? L

I don't think it's missing loads of history. As I recall, the man on the phone just said there were 'a few gaps' in the service history. Also the cambelt service is due but that would be completed on selling of the car. I did go for a quick look at the car, seems to be in good condition apart from a scuff on the front bumper but again this would be seen to before selling. Hope this helps, but your best bet is to give them a ring or go take a look for yourself and make your own mind up

They are sorting the scrape on the underside of the front bumper, altough its not too bad, almost identical to the damage on the one you brought. They are giving at a full valet inside and out, and I get a 3 month warrenty. I also asked them to do a 4 wheel alignment check for me. cheers again for the upfront info. Thats brilliant, i would make sure and get a decent oil into the car, If they are not specialist and deal mainly 4 x 4's they might chuck any old fluid into it. Ask them what they are putting in. The oil argument on here is huge. Do a search on Opie oils posts and that will hook you up. Apart from that well done and you will love it.
