Most of you will probably hang me for posting this..........especially when you read the last sentence BUT I'm genuinely interested to know if any of you will be changing.

No No and again No (Sorry went into Frankie Howard mode!!) what ever EVO says the MY05 is still dark blue with gold wheels and lacks that unique look the wr1 has.
I know i am biased but i like the idea of being one in five hundred.

It still does not get the WR1 re-map which all us STi owners crave for.

And wave bye bye to your warranty!

I read that in Tesco last week. After losing all that money on the WR1 i can't afford to buy car magazines anymore.

Only joking!

If you waited for the next model you'd never buy anything, be it a car, a phone or a TV.

Whoever wrote the article has really missed the point that when you add up the extras the WR1 comes with that you'd have to pay extra for on the MY05, a car that you can't even have PPP'd yet, the WR1 is the better buy. In a couple of years time the MY05 will be just another STi, like the MY04 Sti (sorry Jason! ) and the MY03. The WR1 will hold it's value a lot better, perhaps like the P1 has.

I'd be far more worried about shelling out

Agreed :) WR1 one is and will always be that, with only 500 the second value will hold, just take a look at the RB5 as an example and that is not as good as the WR1. P1 speaks for it's self and perhaps the icon 22b. All limited editions and therefore supply and demand will rule for years to come. In 5 years time when they are changing hands perhaps for the 3 poss 4th time the values will hold better for all. Just my opinion.

Wrong forum boys!

The solberg ISN'T a WR1 any day of the week. It's an ice blue STI.
There's less than 500 WR's now so the price must be going up by now!
