MEGUIRES?

Postby Wheatie » Mon Jul 25, 2005 6:07 pm

Wondered how good this is, i saw some in the local motor spares shop.
Do i need to buy the clay bar as well.

P.S. i know swissol is probably better but seams very expensive.

Hi Wheatie,

I don't think you'd be dissapointed with Meguires, i started using it when i bought the Wr1 i'd always used Autoglym super resin polish before.

I have been using the Gold Class range & find them easy to use with fantastic results. Nice deep glossy finish & it lasts well. I have the Gold Class cream polish & find it goes on & polishes of without much effort but my Girlfriend has the Gold Class paste polish & after doing her car with it y'day i would say it takes a lot more effort & buffing up than the cream. Use the foam pads to apply it & its a doddle & your polish goes a lot further to.
Gold class shampoo is good.
The purple coloured tyre gloss is good & lasts longer than most.
Did buy the clay bar but havn't got round to using it yet.

Hope this helps :D

Mind, at least you don't have to spend too much on replacement bottles of polish etc!!

Using the clay bar is time consuming but the results make it worthwhile. It makes the paintwork silky smooth :thumb:
