I've just dropped mine from 6900 to 6100 and it seems to keep the engine in the ''zone'' much better.
Hopefully when the PPP goes on I'll be able to set it to 7200!!

What have you set shift warning at?I've just dropped mine from 6900 to 6100 and it seems to keep the engine in the ''zone'' much better.

if its a std PPP then 7200 might not be the best setting to keep it in the zone!
The PPP is mapped to peak at 6000rpm and tails off after that ... thats one difference to the WR1 - the WR1 map is different and carries on delivering boost all the way to the redline. Mine is set to 6500 at the moment ... doesn't mean I take its advice
mines set at 5500 as i like to hear the beep all the time
giving the impression thats its being revved high when it isnt. THE WR1 RR DVD http://www.scoobycity.co.uk/wr1/phpBB2/ ... highlight=
Thats the dealer fitted off the shelf PPP map. Might be worth calling Prodrive to confirm but thats as I understand it from Mike Wood at the Norwich rolling road day. Maybe ask for a special Prodrive fitted map ?
I've asked Mike before but he said the current PPP is as good as it gets, apparently they tweaked it a bit with some of the things they'd learnt from mapping the WR1.
Might have to give Bob Rawle a call!! Jason
I'm sure Bob would sort it...as would TSL....depends how much you value a warranty....definately a WR1 plus point
