3M ARMOURFEND

I HAVE BEEN ADVISED TO FIT A PROTECTIVE FILM/COATING TO BONNET,SCOOP,FRONT BUMPER,INNER WHEEL ARCHES AND SIDE SILLS,I HAVE CONTACTED A CO CALLED ARMOURFEND FROM NAZEING,HAS ANY ONE HAD THIS FITTED AND IS 499.38 A REASONABLE PRICE?

THANKS FOR ANY ADVICE

I've not used it myself but if it's like other products i'm thinking of the treatment wears off after a year or two. Most people just buy a good wax like Swissol which is a lot cheaper and gives the car a better shine.

It's a see-thru stick on protective layer. By all accounts it is very good however for the price you could get any blemishes sorted many times over.

Ive seen this on other Scoobs and it protects from stone chips.

JDM imports sem to have it on them when I've seen them at shows. Must do the business, but I don't like it on the car. I have swissol sheild which offers some protection from the bugs etc, I will put up with the few stone chips I have. Mudeflaps make a dig difference as well.

I have this all over my STi, and know Armoufend owner very well.

SHould be able to get you a 10% discount.

It's good stuff IMO.

:D mines going in on wed to have it fitted, a lot of money to get it done but got one stone chip on her already, and a respray would be about 1200 so 500 seems cheap to protect the most vunerable areas. :D say you keep your car for say 5 years thats only 100 per year so not bad in the long run. :D

:D i will put some pics up for you all on thu or fri to let you all make really sensible comments or to get slagged off how crap they look, but seen his cars that he has put it on and you can only make out the lines if you look hard. :D

:D :D just picked it up, to dark to get the pics tonight, will post tomorrow to let you all see the results, i am very impressed, hope the pics do it justice tomorrow. :D
