I know this has been done to death but i still struggle with some of the toss*** on SN who criticise the WR1 at any given opportunity and seem to look for a problem or weakness in the car.
Is this down to ignorance, jealously or the fact they are just Chavs???

Ps I know i may appear to be be snobby or elitist but Bollo*** i am one in 500 after all!!!!!!!!!!

In my opinion, the real reason is because the majority of users are not owners/enthusiasts.
The muppet section will eventually be the downfall of Boobynet as more and more of the enthusiasts and tech heads move onto other boards to get away from the utter shite they spew all over the place.

However, if you dig deep enough, you can still get some good technical info and usually somebody, somewhere can answer a question.
I still go on there just not as often as before.

I don't give a rat's arse what those muppets think. It usually the same t@sser anyway - who declines to answer when someone calls his bluff and questions him.....

At the end of the day I did the sums and anyone who bought an STI with the intention of adding PPP, and getting rid of the gold alloys has basically paid more money for a car that is far less exclusive. I didn't particularly like the colour (but hey - I don't have to look at it) and besides it's really growing on me. It's also funny how many of the people who've seen the car comment that they much prefer the colour to the standard WR Blue!

Add in the minor extra power hike and straight forward insurance and it's a no brainer IMHO.

Anyway - that's enough preaching to the converted ;-)

Simple answer - Don't go on it :D
Got fed up of it a long time ago there's friendlier boards like here & SIDC (Hope ur all members???) to be on that are not full of muppets full of their own opinion.
Shame as it was such a great board once
