Best make sure it has a good warranty on it, not a Rove-style one...

Yes, the warranties are good - but any engine problems and its back to the factory for a long wait. I agree there's nothing out there with the same feel. The TVRCC is also a great club with great ethos.
This probably isn't the time to say it, but I had a full factory tour round TVR a couple of years ago. Very impressed, but oddly not by the engineering construction, mostly by the paint shop which had the most excrutiating attention to detail. Good fun trip, that. Nothing like watching a painted car come out of the oven - it almost looks liquid. An amazing sight

It got put back as I went to an Evo meet with Poesy and couldn't be arsed to drive all the way back to stansted with the weather the way it was. Also it may have been a bit of a godscend as I head yesterday TVR are laying off loads of workers and moving operations either overseas or to a smaller factory!! As a corporate finacier downgrades in production are not a very good sign of liquidity! The question is now will there be a company to honour my three year warranty in a few years???
probably not from what i've heard ! ![]() ![]()
Yep, wouldn't touch one now.
http://www.tvr-car-club.co.uk/news_deta ... newsid=446 They have too many models for such a small outfit. Maybe this Russian owner will consolidate and build a 2000s classic, but with antilock brakes, airbags and a better build. This about seals the Sagaris thread does it not?
