Bringing this thread back among the realms of normal people. [I'm just jealous really]
I've had a Pioneer PDP504HDE 50" for almost 2.5yrs now. It is awesome. It dominates the living room. On Sky it is excellent but on DVD it is magnificent.

No issues on sound / reliability or performance.

Get a 43" bought, you will not regret it
