Try Adrian Flux, they were very competitive when I insured the M5, £650 with protected no claims over £400 cheaper than Keith Michaels although Gary admitted that they weren't competitive on german panzer wagons

The trick with insurance companies is to tell them that your best quote is a lot less than the value you have actually been quoted elsewhere and usually they'll beat it to get the business or just tell you to feck off.

Admiral, I had to stay with current insurer. Only managed to get it down by decreasing the mileage and increase the voluntary excess to 1k

I'm 26, and have my WR1 insured, fully comprehensive for £880 with only two years no-claims.

Are you sure you're telling us everything

I got about £400 knocked off for putting my missus on my policy (she's prehistoric at 31). If KwikFit was your best quote, I'd suggest going to their website, entering your details on it, adding your girlfriend/mum or someone with good driving history as a named driver. Then upping your voluntary excess as high as possible (then play with the excess until you find a good balance).

Protected no claim, covering me and the wife (who probably wont drive it) for £319 8)

ive got 4 years no claims,12k miles a year, high risk post code,£250 excess, parked out on the street,no activated tracker and i only pay £342 fully comp

would be cheaper if some dosey feck never crashed into me on the motorway :x

46 with 9+ years no claims and £500 excess... £319 is not much more than I used to pay for my Laguna a few years back.

its very rare that i get home sober enough to drive, so car has to wait until the next day so own conclusions drawn

wife usually makes me smile then i see the credit card bill

most of it is because of the pointless amount of car and fishing related stuff that i have bought while being in the control room at work. we are shut down the now and will be untill sunday so i have almost run out of stuff to look at on the internet.
