Hopefully the new owner Mark (from Doncaster) will register on here as I showed him the site when he was here.. Gone to a good home I think, he owned a WR1 when they first came out and then sold it but wanted another one a few years on... can't get away from a 1!!

I know mate, really didn't want to let it go... listening to the burble as it drove into the distance!! The new owner Mark seems like a top bloke and is into his cars so I hope it has gone to a good home!

Cheers guys, I'll still be staying around. The forum would fall apart if it wasn't for me. I mean god forbid the postings return to things remotely sensible and Subaru related!!

Not replacing it mate... you could never replace a '1'!!
I've got a 306 TurboD so I'm going to use that for a while yet...

Deeply disapointed in you mate...
not only have you let the forum down, let yourself down but you have let your pants down too...
I hope it was for the right reasons buddy and the inevitable regrets are short lived. Onwards and upwards
stick around though buddy and hoopefully you will be up for a pint when I am over in the UK soon

Know what you mean - i had to part with the almighty Focus ST GGR 330 when our little man came along. still managing to keep the wr1 for now although with Clark putting ideas of a grandad mode car for commuting into my head mine too might end up parked up until weekends...

you are both wimps!!! Who pays for the cars in the first place...us fella's!
I bought my 1 because of the little one.....a lot more practical than most cars out there...and the fact that the Atom doesn't have any isofix points.
Anyways....hope it all goes well with you plans mate...I am sure once the happy day comes around the WR1 will be far from your mind..then you have 9 months to wait after that!
