i would say if it can be repaired, have it repaired, i watched them take a broken screen out of my last sti, its a bit scary when they take the cheese wire out to cut around the old screen

I would go with the repair if possible rather than removing the screen as it breaks the factory seals and paint when they take it out.

take a brick to your windscreen if you are replacing it might save yourself less damage when the bloke does it.
