The WAIT for the WR1

Postby Blobster » Fri Mar 31, 2006 3:25 pm

....was as nought to the wait for the ATOM.
Two months in and still no sign. Expecting end of June but other owners think that's a bit optimistic.

And all this lovely driving weather we've been having of late. :(

(Thinking I sold the WR1 too early)

Your not wrong there.

I've not gone for the Clarkson disfiguring supercharged one, but ONLY the 245bhp model - which is still probably a 100 times a better car than I am a driver.

PS. I miss the WR1 though. I'm trogging about in Forester and forgetting what speed is.

the one I went out in was the facial surgery one but the driver said we should wear helmets because of the amount of shit that gets kicked up from the cars in front and hits you.

Lol you actually appreciate how many stones hit the front of your car on a regular drive when you buy an atom. Makes you know exactly how a front bumper feels.

Awesome motor though matey ... a definite favourite of mine. :D

I wanted one too but on the roads around here it'd be wasted. :(

The state of roads in general means an Atom is suitable only for posing in.

But on a track.......now that WILL be fun. :D

A couple of years ago I test drove a Westfield XTR2 on the road - mad, totally mad. I just got the feeling the novelty would wear off too quickly and i'd want for things like windows and doors again

As a track tool though  - sure it would be too good for me and second to none, well maybe an Atom...and a Radical !!! Oh well, you know what I mean.

only word to describe that car is awesome!

Any car that you can wear a crazy crash helmet all the time when you drive it and not look stupid gets top marks in my book!
