Any other deals around ?
I'm looking for something for Mak to drive. Was considering a Focus ST, but R32 might be nice at that price.
Before anyone suggests, I do NOT want a Renault...

So if you will miss the grip and fun factor... how is an M3 then an upgrade ?
How are the prices of the new STi's actually doing ?

as in the new bullshit shape? they were lowish to start with so you can get a good deal on a used one anything hawkeye and older is very low money now like a lot of used cars

Well, you know how much I care about shape when it comes to cars. I tend to keep shape issues to women
I looked on the Subaru websites and they want a lot of money for their STi's still in demonstrators. Does this car not depreciate ?
Might indeed not look well, but the hawkeye's are still quite a lot of money compared to blob-eye and the fact it's an old car compared to the new model.
Focus isn't great to look at either, as is the Golf. But both sound glorious and should be good cars for someone looking for a nice car to run around.

Hawkeyes still a lot of money compared to blobeyes? really? dont think so... why would you buy a car which is fcuking ugly when you can have a version that looks a lot better. why should a year on a cars age make a difference? p.s thought you didnt like the lazy 2.5 anyway?
The Swede wrote:I still don't like the 2.5, but as said, it's not a car for me and the car would not be a base for modification. I'd still keep the Evo.
The STI would be an alternative to another hatch such as and ST or an R32, and only if the price is comparable.
Mak would not appreciate the difference between an Focus and a scoob anyway.
I don't see why the blob-eye was more ugly than the hawk-eye. The WR1 is a blob-eye...
She quite likes the normal, WR Blue Impreza like I had one. Personally, I think that's a fairly easy car to drive and they're not super expensive anymore. The only problem is finding an unmolested one.

Come on over and I'll change your mind about the 2.5 and "base for modification" and hardcore, and raw, and beast, and brutal
