Yes they are supposed to be fantastic. We would like to get a cheap Elise at some point to use for driver training, seems to be the best compromise between cost and usabilty in more conditions. (As opposed to a Caterham for example).
Amazing car - had a go in one at bruntingthorpe last year. However i would be paranoid on a track with people running everything from race cars to old bangers in a £40,000 note car...

Had a chance to rag one round silverstone a few years ago.
THey are top fun. IF I had spare cash, I'd have on as a weekend car. When I'm not driving I'm Skiing !

Pain in the ass to get in and out of though!
Whenever we get one in to detail I find it quicker to push the car in and out the unit Going round corners just got a whole lot faster...
If you find them hard to get in/out Clark i would love to watch Bigman try squeezing himself into one the size he is
