2004 Impreza WR1 - No 481 - DCFCtomHi guys, Had the car for just over a week now but after having all day Saturday cleaning her I thought id take her for a quick photo or two.
You will recognise 481 as belonging to Cozzy before he went to Australia. The Pics are taken with my new DSLR so just experimenting still really. Comments of course welcome and thanks for looking Tom
thanks chaps. Id love Cozzy to come on and see it. One things for sure if he wants to buy it back a 3rd time he will have to make me a bloody good offer lol JOKE. Its not forsale
Nice job tom its gleaming, bet you got noticed in the shiney beast
Nobody told me it was this brutal !
Looking great mate, I might have to bring mine down for a shine-off!
Where were the pics taken? There are no stupid questions, only stupid people.
Hi Steve yeah im up for a shine off. Hmm that Dont sound right that doesnt lol At the min its a bead off, sodding weather. Funnily enough the pics were taken at Mourville Hall (spelling?) heading towards Leek from Weston Coyney if you know it. There was a wedding party at the time and they were all outside enjoying drinks until I rocked up LOL think the 1 was getting more admiring looks than the bride
Il be honest marchar im finding the attention a bit well, embarracing if im honest. EVERYWHERE i go you get stared at which I guess comes with driving such a rare/stunning/noisy bugger of a car like we do but im not used to it coming from a Clio 182 ha. Suppose ive got to get used to it Cheers Tom
Thought it looked familar, my mate got married there a couple of years back and my previous WRX was his wedding car. Wait til you turn up at a 5* hotel with valet parking in it mate, "no thanks, I'll park it myself..."
There are no stupid questions, only stupid people.
I have the same problem, the car does attract some attention, even from the normal scoob drivers, also my dashing good looks from behind the wheel attract the greatest attention. Car looks great, I love giving mine a good polishing. At least with this beast, it never lets you down and gives you the ride of your life every time..... Thinking of ditching the misses, she can't perform as well as the one
Cheers Gary, unfortunately i couldnt possibly agree with ditching the missus!!! Shes sat right bloody here reading this with eyes LOL
Re: 2004 Impreza WR1 - No 481 - DCFCtomManaged to take a few (poor) Pics in the snow from last week so thought id post a few up. Actually DYING to clean her lol
Same location as last time im afraid but I prefer not to be stared at while I look like a child taking pics of my car
Re: 2004 Impreza WR1 - No 481 - DCFCtomAwesome images, incidently what camera did you use..........and dare I ask what settings too, its just i am getting into this photography milarky.
Re: 2004 Impreza WR1 - No 481 - DCFCtomHey Steve thanks. Photobucket has killed the quality tbh. Ive only just got into using an SLR myself so bought an older model to see how id get on. Its just a Canon 440d but it does the job for me. A few were taken using auto mode but i kinda just use the settings available on the camera like portrait, landscape etc
Re: 2004 Impreza WR1 - No 481 - DCFCtomIf you right click on your original image and go to properties, then one of the tabs shows you everything you need like the shutter info the F number and so on - if you see a good picture online, you should be able to do this to see the relevant camera settings
Re: 2004 Impreza WR1 - No 481 - DCFCtom. Bloody hell I never knew that. Learn something new everyday. Cheers

Defiantly yeah. Hate having a dirty 1 and it doesn't look like shes gonna get a wash any time soon either. Rain Rain RAIN lol
Re: 2004 Impreza WR1 - No 481 - DCFCtom
Yes it should work fine, shows you the lens used, the zoom, all the settings on the camera that make a difference anyway. Just need Windows XP or higher with latest service pack, hopefully most people are on Windows 7 by now. Wont even start on a rant about Windows 8
