Quick intro, just signed up been a long time lurker of this place, but finally signed up, I have been a long time admirer of the WR1, and its about time I owned one of these machines...
Had quite a "changeable" few years with cars so far, with things like 3xM3's, 2x M5's, Focus RS, STI Hatch, Golf GTi, Astra diesel and my last car an Audi A3 Quattro.

Hi and welcome....
Youve had a selection of high powered cars, my mate has an E39 M5 and that is one rapid piece of kit, although he would like a race with my one, not happened yet keep telling him that he will kill himself trying to keep pace with the 1

I'm guessing it is dull as dish water since he has only owned it for 2 months or so! I'm bet it has covered less than 1k miles in that time too?

4 months actually and nearly 2k miles
It was dull - it wasn't the S3 it was an A3 2.0 TFSI (with upped power) so not that far off an S3. It was dull, and was only ever a stop gap.

Yes you can say that... why do you prefer the 1? i assume its a bit quicker than the V10 and you want to trade up to the ultimate driving experience

I come from a recent long line of BMW's, and after a falling out with my local dealership over the last M5 - I've decided to take a break from the brand, and the dealership. So want to go for something different, and I've had a few Scoobies in the past but never got round to the WR1.
