You need to have it priced so people come and look at yours, It's the only way it's going to sell, Thats what i had to do, Nobody wants 240mile for £70 worth of fuel...
You sold ! When ?
Sold it 3 month ago, Was just sitting in my garage gathering dust for the past year, The wr1 only done 30mile in a year and thats cause i took it for a m.o.t, So seem a waste just sitting in my garage, A boy from midlands cames up and bought it, I now have a R27 F1, Would beat any scooby in the twisties
At the speed you drive, I could beat your F1 in a Tesco shopping trolley!

The trouble with selling this time of year is its always distressed selling. I always sell in August and buy in January.
As a professional buyer I'll also say that No matter how good your car is theres always some bugger undercutting you. If you look on Autotrade there are dealers sellling for £1500 cheaper and their cars, albeit more miles (40k) have to come with a Warranty so make for a more secure purchase no matter how top notch your car is!
That said, I am tempted....was holding out for an RB320 distressed sale (2 of my dealers have had them 90 days and will have to auction soon).
Can you tell me what the tyres and brake discs/ pads are like please?

Well, I'm astonished...
The brakes are round metal discs that are used to stop/slow the car.
The tyres are the bits that wrap around the wheels to provide some grip and comfort instead of riding around on rims. Although, when you see the state some people drive their cars around in, you often wonder why they bother with tyres..
In seriousness, the standard brakes are fine although some prefer to upgrade to AP etc. The OEM brakes are not that expensive to replace tbh. The tyres again depend on where you buy them but reckon on £115 ish per corner (if you are in the trade then I'm sure you will get them cheaper).
Depends how you drive and whether you track it but you could get up to 10k miles if you are careful. Not the kind of car you want cheap tyres on really with the performance of them... You need to watch that if you need to replace one tyre, you should make sure the opposite tyre is within 1-2mm of the new one as any difference more than this can put strain on the diff and blow it which will cost you more than a new set of tyres!

Did you have to type my username or does it replace it when you type my actual username?
I'm going to the European court of human rights to play the race card.

Had it about a year I think. Sold my P1 for it.
Ended up selling to buy an E46 M3, and it was also far too loud for the missus - but I loved it. Got a Racing Blue Clio 182 now as we needed to pay off a loan. Will no doubt be back in the turbo saddle in a year or two, but loving the Clio at the moment as it's just a fun little motor. Third one I've had now!
