Does the 04 STi have the same Diff as the WR1?

Can anyone remember the thread of the poor WR1 owner that had a diff replaced with the wrong diff?

i had my rear diff changed all better now

I dont think my probs were the diff as i know i had the right one fitted now.
Think cos i put super sticky front tyres on it was trying to pull the front faster than the back.
