..well, they WERE wrapped but over the last year the wire holding it on has broken and a lot of wrapping has gone. What's the thoughts about the need for a re-insulation job.
They're RCM headers, decatted RCM system.
Any links on where to buy and how much ?
Cheers guys.

I have had this on most of my cars - road and rally and the WR1 is the only car so far where I haven't had it on....yet.
I get mine from DemonTweeks...think it is the 1" x 50ft rolls I get, but you can change to other sizes to suit how much you need.
I wouldn't really worry about the need to replace it unless you really want to. I would however try to take as much of it as possible off now. Small splits in the wrapping can lead to stress fractures as the temps are not uniform anymore.
The advantage of it is 2 fold, to increase gas flow by keeping exhaust temps high and also limiting engine bay temps thus keeping intake cooler. In the scoob though I would be dubious of just how much gains this would have unless you have a properly built motor where everything else is as good as it can be too.

be very wary with un-wraped non std headers as there is a lot of wiring under the rad and the heat off the headers plays havoc!!
carry 50'x2" rolls in stock at £45inc. if required
