Disabling Tracker

Does anyone know how to disable the tracker so it doesnt drain the battery ????

Sorry if this sounds stupid, but wouldn't it be easier just to discon the battery. I assume that you want to leave the car stood for a period of time.

never had a problem leaving mine without a trickle charge for a few months.

Just make sure you drive with lights on for a bit before you turn it off...need a draw on the battery to get the alternator flowing. This will make sure its full of juice come the next time you plan to drive it.

If you are leaving it for a looong time, then i would do as suggested and disconnect battery or get a trickle charger on it. Also worth jacking it up too to stop the tyres becoming deformed.

I don't want to disconnect the battery everytime - im not taking off the road its just to stop it draining the battery if i dont use it for a small period of time but still have the alarm on.
