Component Speakers Crossover Location ??

Gonna have a go at installing my new Infinity components in the front doors of my WR1 but unsure as to where the best location is for the crossover units as they`re quite bulky ??

Also do I connect the crossovers directly into the existing wiring from the head unit on both sides ??

Any advice much appreciated before I make a mess!!
