Where do you jack the car up from and where is the jack?

The jack is on the left hand side of the boot behind a hatch.

The spare wheel is under the boot carpet, under a board with all the tools.

the jack should be in the space saver wheel, jac it up in the gaps underneath the sills.

I took the Jack out a few weeks ago. Not sure where it is now. Any ideas?

I have a trolley jack. Can I jack the car up by the middle of the front bumper so I can take both front wheels off and the same time?

Your jack is in your garage. Look behind the old paint tins, I think it is there.

you could do it by the front bumper, but probably safer if you slide the jack a bit further under and get on the cross member to lift both wheels.

the rear bumper may be a bit stronger, but again the jack on the diff will probably cause less damage to lift the rears.

I am unsure of a point where you could lift all 4 wheels up with a jack. you may be wiser investing in some chains, put them through the doors, and lift the whole thing with a hoist or similiar.

Sponges in the 'nook' of the chains should protect paintwork.

To lift all 4 wheels in one go, go to the nearest wharehouse and ask a fork lift driver to put on the extendable forks, they will then go all the way through, then positon them under the car so that they lift on the jack point's( no point lifting anywhere save damage to do it at these specific points, then lift steadily........

hope this helps

Owners manual will show the jacking points
I used a trolley jack under the diff at the rear
used the car one on the front one side at a time
i would nt leave it up on the std car jack for any length of time though
some trolley jacks have a notch out of them for the side jacking points i think

Thanks for your help.

One point. To lift the rear you should to jack up from the rear diff? Where is the rear diff?

Look under the car from the rear and you will see the diff casing in the centre, there is a small drain plug on it.
