Optimax or Ultimate for better performance ??

After running my wheels on Optimax since I bought it in February, I got caught short the other day & had to fill up with Ultimate!
I`ve noticed an amazing improvement...especially when putting the pedal to the metal on overtaking manouvres!!

Can anyone explain the difference in the 2 fuels as I`m not a technical wizard & why the performance is so much better than Optimax?

Has anyone else noticed any difference when running between the two fuels?

Not tried the new ultimate but been running on tesco99 for about the last six months or so, but the other day I filled up with optimax and she don't feel as quick, so its back to tesco I guess.

Tescos works for me too. I think Ultimate had a re-blend not long ago, so it may have caught up with Optimax. I doubt it would be worth paying a 7p premium over Tesco though!

Are you always filling up at the same petrol station ?

Try sometimes changing. Some stations take better care of the content of their tanks than others
