Turbo from USA?
Posted: Wed Dec 13, 2006 12:15 amWith the Dollar exchange rate being in our favour, have any of you considered buying a turbo upgrade from the USA? I've been looking on a few sites and you can pick up a TD05-18G with ported compressor and turbine housing for $1,100 delivered (+ some Tax 
). These are supposed to be good for 370 - 380bhp with supporting mods.
That's half the price you'd pay from someone like Andy F, although on the other hand he's well respected for supplying good turbos.
What are your thoughts?
