Rear Dampers Replaced

Postby WR1 Bro » Thu Jan 25, 2007 1:08 pm

I had the rear dampers replaced yesterday. All feels fine now.

However, when driving away I noticed that the dashboard seemed to be creaking lots. The creaking was not there before the car went in for the dampers.

Any explanations?

The cold weather may mean that your plasticky soobaroo dash is a little less flexy and more akin to squeeking than on a normal day

Other than that i have niot got a clue - it cant be anything to do with the dampers you strawberry punnitt!

Did they give it a service and maybe an internal clean/wipe as well?????

Of course, because the weather changed dramatically the moment I dropped the car off at the garage?

In fact, the problem was caused my by SatNav wire lodging between the steering wheel and steering column. Creek creek creek!

I just wanted you to find a answer for the sake if it. Thanks for helping as always Marky Sparky Spastic Queen.

I bet you logically thought through the entire process of changing the dampers to TRY and find a reason for the creeking. Bless you my child.
