Good price, i think thats the lower spec of the exedy clutch range, but im sure it will be ok if you are only running 'normal' levels of torque.

In that case stop trying to do things on the cheap.

No organic clutches are officially rated for that, but the reality is the AP ones can run happily up around there.

If you want to rag the car or drag it though, you are at the level where you might want to consider a non-organic one.

  Like it Spike.

The friction plate (the bit that grips the flywheel on one side and the pressure plate on the other hence transmitting drive from engine to gearbox) on an organic clutch is made of an organic fibre. These are only OK up to a certain level depending on fibre quality, size, springs etc.

After this you have to go to more fancy materials that have more resistance to sliping on the flywheel face. Carbons, ceramics, etc. and then paddle items.

The beauty of the organic is it feels nice, its progressive and does not need really high spring rates to work.

The materials that can take more torque, are invariably not as nice to drive with. Can be very grabby and need a lot of leg force to operate.

You need to budget for a flywheel as well, or a skim of the existing one.

At that mileage, and the fact its been driven while slipping, will mean there is a good chance the mating face will not be very good.
