Rear shocks on a bugeye WRX

Postby WR1 Bro » Thu May 22, 2008 11:48 am

Mom's car failed its MOT on a leaking rear shock.

Should I stick to standard (they have lasted 70k miles) or is there a cheaper alternative. Car is driven like Miss Daisy most of the time.

Would think the standard ones would be the best for her.

Have a look at the for sale sections on SIDC & Scoobynet to see if you can pick up a 2nd hand set as i've seen them for sale quite often when folk upgrade. Hopefully you might find a set there but i would imagine she would need them sooner than later so maybe best just getting a new set of rear shocks from the dealer.

Oh just thought try the likes of Grade A Subaru www.gradea-subaru.co.uk they are scooby breakers & more than likely to have a set in stock.

Thanks boys.

WR1 suspension is banging like Spike with his willy in his hand.... :wank: so there is no point fitting what is on the WR1 to my Moms car.

Went over to Adam in Buxton (Autotechnica) - he replaced the rear struts last night and did a 70k service for £250.50. Top jpb as always.
