WR1 No. 500 For SaleI have available for a very reluctant sale a Subaru Impreza WRX STI WR1. The Subaru Impreza WR1 at the time was hailed the fastest and most powerful Impreza, it was built to celebrate Petter Solberg winning the Driver’s Title in the 2003 World Rally Championship. It features a power upgrade to 320 PS plus a host of technical and visual upgrades and cost £29,995 on-the-road and there was only 500 being built and all would be individually numbered. This car is rare as it is and mine is very unique as my individual number is 500! This car has had one owner from new, ME! My car is tax and tested for the next 6 months, has approximately 58K miles on the clock and has a FSH relevant to the mileage. My car is in good condition and has minor modifications in which the car can be returned to standard if required as I have retained a lot of the standard parts. Items I have fitted are as follows: TSL Firestorm rear exhaust Straight through center section Performance panel filter Air filter snorkel removed Polished straight air filter panel Radiator slam panel Performance re-circulating dump valve Automatic inter cooler spray (boost activated) Qty 3 Defi Gauges (Boost, Oil and Exhaust temperature) Pioneer head unit (Sat Nav, DVD player) and 6 disc changer Tein bonnet struts Prodrive mudflaps This is a very genuine reluctant sale! I love this car but due to the current financial climate I can no longer afford to run/ keep this vehicle. I am open to offers around 12k and viewings are welcome (I live in the North East). If you are serious about purchasing this car you can either private message or contact me via my mobile 07921254611. Last edited by wr1500 on Sun Jan 20, 2013 7:01 pm, edited 3 times in total.

Re: WR1 No. 500 For SaleNice advert and nice car, looks well looked after.......I'd have started at a higher price though GLWTS
Re: WR1 No. 500 For Sale£10k?
I'm telling you now mate, your car is worth more than that regardless of what number it is! Going round corners just got a whole lot faster...
Re: WR1 No. 500 For Sale10K.Are you insane. Thats far too cheap fella. That will go quick if you stick with that price. Sorry to hear you cant afford to run it anymore.
All the best Carl
Re: WR1 No. 500 For SaleHonestly guys do you think that is cheap?
I looked at a few wr1's for sale and thought that 10K was a pretty fair price. I would love to get as much as possible for my car as I really dont want to see it go, I love it! I think I will cry the day it drives away. There can be only WR1!
Re: WR1 No. 500 For SaleFar to cheap, Clark sold his for £40000 a few weeks ago, mine is now up forsale for £39995 Ono
Re: WR1 No. 500 For Sale
Sorry to hear you have to sell. Times are hard at the moment. Which part of the Boro you from? I used to live in Acklam but moved to Birmingham for work.
Re: WR1 No. 500 For Sale40K are you joking!!!!!!!!
What had he had done to the car? I used to live in Billingham but have recently moved to Stockton. There can be only WR1!
Re: WR1 No. 500 For Sale
I believe they are having a bit of an in joke between each other? ...................... i think But 10k is very cheep.
Re: WR1 No. 500 For Sale
Yes £40000 the car is pristine, sold it to a member on here, he was desperate to own a 1. Clark is the guy who does all the detailing work ( Polished Bliss ) ring any bells?
Re: WR1 No. 500 For SaleI would stick the car up for £12,495 and see what offers you get. Start high then meet in the middle rather than starting low. Im no car salesman but ive never paid asking price for a car.
Re: WR1 No. 500 For Sale
Used to live in billingham myself. On ingleby now . Used to have a WR1 too Wonder if I should return to scoob ownership ?
Re: WR1 No. 500 For SaleI've been in debate on putting my 1 (438) up for sale too for the last couple of weeks, 40500 miles, standard and full history etc, I was only thinking 10.5-11k
Re: WR1 No. 500 For Sale
Ingleby Barwick? that was jus being built up when i left the area. Me and my first wife looked at houses there, i think a semi at the time was £16500....
Re: WR1 No. 500 For Sale
With that mileage? and assumimg mint condition £12500ish
Re: WR1 No. 500 For SaleThat's more than I paid for it from a garage 2 years ago....when it had 33k on it
Re: WR1 No. 500 For SaleOk peps, you guys are the experts since this is the wr1oc!
I will rise the price, if it dont sell am blaming you guys! There can be only WR1!
Re: WR1 No. 500 For SaleIt's all very well people saying to raise the price, but have you had any offers at £10K?
[Just incase this gets lost in translation, I am not slandering you, I know people can be sensitive to these harsh words.]
Re: WR1 No. 500 For SaleNo most offers so far are around the 9k, they have not even seen the car so not sure how genuine these offers are. I know how it works though everyone whats something for nothing!
I know I prob wont get 12k but I may get closer to what I need then if I left it at 10k. Contemplating putting it on pistonheads! Can anyone comment, does this website shift cars? There can be only WR1!
Re: WR1 No. 500 For SalePistonheads worked for me is selling my blob sti, evo 8 and mother in laws jag xf! It used to be free but elite it's a tenner now to list a car
Re: WR1 No. 500 For SaleThe climate at present is slow for selling second hand cars, the new car market is booming, must be all that credit on offer...... If you need a quick sale and cash is needed quickly sell for around £9000 to £9500, if you can wait it out? then the higher price stated is your starting point. As i have said before there is a buyer for everything, and if you car sticks out from the croud ie other WR1's then its sold
Re: WR1 No. 500 For Sale
I sold mine in 5 days on Pistonheads but I wasn't greedy. I got what I wanted for it £12k (47k miles) circa 2+ years ago. If you go higher, I'm sure there will be a buyer out there but you are likely to be waiting a long time as those buyers will be few and far between. It would have to really stand out for some reason and appeal to that person with the right money. Good luck with the sale, it's your car and you can do what you want with it! We all have opinions, it's only yours that counts here. [Just incase this gets lost in translation, I am not slandering you, I know people can be sensitive to these harsh words.]
Re: WR1 No. 500 For SaleAdded a few more pics that I have taken over the weekend after a viewing. Pictured is the documentation and the original parts that I have retained.
There can be only WR1!
Re: WR1 No. 500 For SaleIn my opinion, these cars are worth more standard.
Put it back to standard - put the car up for 10k ono. looking to take around 9.5k and make another 1.5k(ish) from the parts to sell. I can't imagine you'd have any issues selling the filters, centre section, rear box, headunit and Defi's. I for one could be interested in the Defi's and the Prodrive mudflaps (depending on condition) for example - as well as many others on here or Scoobynet I'd imagine. If you've had no offers of 10k then that kind of says what the market is like, so raising the price will be fruitless (again in my opinion) Lunacy is a right foot away.
Re: WR1 No. 500 For Sale
All depends on the individual really. The person that bought my car was glad of the modifications it had as it was everything he would have done to it anyways. Going round corners just got a whole lot faster...
Re: WR1 No. 500 For Sale
Your car was better when you sold it than when it left the forecourt with 0 miles.... [Just incase this gets lost in translation, I am not slandering you, I know people can be sensitive to these harsh words.]
Re: WR1 No. 500 For SaleDid you get a good price for her? Did you raise the price at all?
