I wonder how that guy from the RR day is getting on with his Evo, wasnt he developing a ecu for the future models.
Merv ?
Perhaps he could give some input.

Testdrove the Evo 9 FQ-340 last friday.
Was honestly impressed. Much better than the Evo7 FQ300 I drove when I got the scoob. At least this one has a serious bark from the exhaust (without being too intruding) and power was just awesome. Especially mid range acceleration is blistering. And nearly no turbolag. Tried the Spec C Type 20 (340bhp) the day after and that did not feel as if it had the same urge. Excellent car too thought and it does not seem to suffer from the typical nuissances that make the Evo hard to live with on daily basis : - "don't leave the car in gear with the clutch depressed at the traffic light... don't keep your foot on the brake when standing at a traffic light (or jam)..." - "hei mate, it's green already !"
