Nice pics, Dan. Sounds like you've had fun! How does it compate to your Evo as a driving experience?

right then. well the 911 was a lot of fun, it's clearly not as quick as the evo but then i didnt expect it to be when you look at the figures on paper. i'm not sure you can even compare the evo/scoob to the porker, as they're completely different price brackets. the porsche certainly gives a big cheesy grin, partly due to the noise with sport exhaust mode engaged (this only went off once to see what the difference was) and stayed on the rest of the time, but mostly because it feels like you're driving a supercar. you only need to look in the rear view mirror to see the massive flared arches and spoiler as a quick reminder. Interior is a whole other level, exceptional build quality, no rattles anywhere, superb bose sounds, integrated sat nav (didnt use it, but a possible nice to have) sports seats, very VERY comfortable, whilst giving enough support when you're chucking it about. driving position was also very comfortable. with all S models you get a button to have normal or sports suspension, sport obviously being much stiffer and giving a firmer ride, whilst allowing harder cornering, normal for i'm stuck in traffic and bored of feeling a bump if i drive over an ant. looks wise i was disappointed when they told me it was a red one, when i turned up to collect it i was very suprised, loved the colour, however possibly a bit over the top with the kit and bigger alloys aswell. in fact, looks almost like a gt3. driving wise everything is SMOOOTH. power delivery, braking, handling etc is all very well balanced. for a rear wheel drive car, there is a lot of grip even when the road was greasy. i got a LOT of attention from local kids, neighbour who came out when i got home last night to ask me 100 questions, people on the motorway nodding and sticking up thumbs etc, i think this was partly due to the fact it was bright red, and had the aerokit, and really stood out. so would i have one? it's a LOT of money, but it's a LOT of car, i guess we'll just wait and see how things pan out. looking forward to my next supercar experience in a couple of weeks
