Coming soon, tidy the 1 up project.
I haven’t really spent too much time or money on the aesthetics of the 1 since the off at Oulton. Some bits were in need of replacement and other needed some titivation.
I will post some pics soon but before certain people start, (You know who you are)
Its not bling.
Its not chave.
Its not boy racer. (Well maybe a bit “Old Man Racerâ€

Can we have a pic of the wheels slightly further away to show them against the car? Looks like a nice finish.
Please do not mention Mick C on here... I'm sure he is only three breaths away from threatening us with an injunction. I met a friend of his at a recent Subaru meet... I'm not telling you what they said about him.

Your car could get confused for a UFO with the camouflaged wheels and the shine from your forehead.

Sunshine... You sounds like my old man... Fooking "sunshine"... Do I give you a healthy glow? If so, stop thinking about me in that way.
Leave Mick C out of it... you'll just make him mad and wet another pair of pants...

Mate, it's not meant to come across as a criticism but more...."what's going on this thread then?"
I have had a couple of general exchanges with Mick C on a Yorkshire forum and he has not done anything to offend nor annoy me so as far as I know he is good fella. (my personal opinion)
All I can say is that it is very easy to cristicise individuals but it takes a bigger man to reach out and be more understanding taking into account underlying circumstances. Afterall, it takes two to tango.
I am sure if Mick C were to come back on here (I take it he no longer comes on here?) then the likes of Dan, Marky, Bro etc will welcome him back as they did with me. No doubt there will be certain individuals who will not but hey that's them being bitter.

Looking good mate, I like the colour of the wheels
Looks much better with rear AP's aswell. You b*stard, makes me want to get some. Will be very interested to hear your feedback on how the braking has changed since fitting them. New flaps look good too, really smartens it up! So needs a splitter...

Looking good Mac, looks like the wheels have been done very well, who did you use?
The rear AP's are also on my wish list, and higher up now
Definately agree that it needs a front splitter, just seems to complete the front end better.

Thanks Dave,
Modified the old ones by fitting some carbon fibre film and got a local graphics company to print the Prodrive P.
If you want yours doing just send me down your old caps and I will apply the carbon fibre film. Printing the P cost me 30 quid for six, you may be able to get them locally at a cheaper price. I can give you the name of the company that I used who also do Team Dynamics BTCC graphics.
Just let me know?

Car is looking really smart Mac, those AP's look really good... do they perform well? (not expecting a negative answer but...)
How long did it take to get the wheels done? Did you take the wheels off and send them away or could they do them in a day? (clueless...)
Cheers

Replace the 1 with an RB320, are you mad Dave . The 320 is just a black car to commemorate the death of a great rally car drive Richard Burns (but you knew that) The WR1 was a limited addition brought out to celebrate the win of Solburg and the Impreza in 2003 WRC.
So Death or Glory, I prefer Glory, but remember the Death.
