The EVOs gota go!!!http://genmay.com/showthread.php?t=579455
My new favourite car in all the world. Quite simply awesome.
My humble opinion: I'll have a WR1 (or your FQ400) any time.
This type of machine doesn't do anything for me I'm afraid. I like simple, purpose built cars. You selling the FQ400 then ? Mileage ? Pics ?
you must be then! This is purpose built ... to scare the living sh!t out of you. Bugatti Veyron performance and power for Ferrari 360 money. Looks better than a Veyron too!
I share the reservations above: what will it be like on a normal A123 or B-road ?
Mental!! Just the way a car should be!! How is a scoob on the swedish/norweigen/scandinavian tundra!! Prob just as mental. It's all about cost/benefit analysis. You want a car that nothing will ever beat, for reasonable money (i.e. under 110,000) and that people won't key or take a view that you are an ostentacious tw@t from when they see it. This Viper kind of meets all of those requirements. You can't always immediately write a car off because it won't be as good as a subaru on twisty roads. Lets face it ... there are more straight roads than twisties anyway and as much as we all bang on about how a scoob handles well in the twisties none of us can REALLY drive it or even scratch the surface of what a car is capable of on a day to day basis. So what difference does it make!!!
The car has performance, looks, style and class levels no evo or scoob could even dream of and it is a world away from our cars.
Ok it might not be as quick on a snow covered twisty road but then its probably not going to ever see a snow covered twisty road and if it did you could probably use a corsa or nova to beat it let alone a scooby. Standing 1/4mile in 9.5 secs - lets be honest its gona destroy us all, be good to see it go though
The scoob indeed is a mental car for this place. And I do agree with what you said. Although you can next enter an endless discussion around what's the best car for the money and drag every possible contender in from the supercar niche- or tuning-market. Maybe it's because I never lived in a part of the world where they had straights in the roads: Wales, Cotswolds, Finland. I won't argue it's a great machine. I'd just summarise it as " maybe not my cup of tea". (Eventhough I do have a personal racing track half a mile down the road. One with no obstacles (or chicanes) at all ! )
Ahhhhhh I have always wanted to rag the scoob over a snow covered lake. You could drift it for miles.
Almost as good as living next to a tunnel. Which is one of the musts when I buy my next place! Maybe sweden, norway, finland, lapland (very good club by the way ) greenland and the other shell-suit wearing european countries aren't so bad after all.
In fact... I live near the sea. Which means I can get my drift 'wrong' by about 100 miles before hitting any trees on the Swedish coast PS: Club ? You know a Scooby club in Lapland ?? Tell me more !! Hope you are OK with living in a caravan in summer and an iglo in winter.
These Vipers just get more and more insane.
